Nose correction

Although it represents one of the most demanding aesthetic face procedures, if you believe that it will improve the appearance of your face, we perform it routinely in our hospital.

Corrective rhinoplasty may ensure the change in size, width of nose, hump may be removed from dorsum, change of the tip and the width of nostrils as well as the angle between the nose and upper lip. In addition to these aesthetic problems, it is possible to remove a number of functional disturbances that result from deviated septum.

Except in emergency traumatic conditions, corrective rhinoplasty is not performed on patients younger than eighteen, since this period marks the end of growth of nasal bone structures, which excludes the possibility of postoperative nasal deformities.

Corrective rhinoplasty may be performed under general or local anaesthesia, which depends on the scope of surgery itself. Duration and complexity of the procedure depend on individual factors such as nasal structure, skin thickness, age, and of course on your preferences.

It is advisable to spend first couple of days in bed with high headboard and apply cold compresses on your eyes which will prevent larger swelling.  Most patients are able to walk only two days after the surgery, and they usual continue their everyday activities after two weeks. Physical activities, such as jogging, swimming, aerobics and cycling should be avoided for three weeks after the operation.

ST Medica hospital makes available to its patients only the best. With its committed work, extensive experience and top results, we offer to our patients a feeling of full trust and satisfaction with completed services.
