Facial rejuvenation using non-invasive methods
Methods that we use in our hospital include: surface dermabrasion, chemical peels, botox injection, use of filler and mesotherapy. The effects are brilliant.
Facial wrinkles appear due to three reasons. One is skin ageing, whereby with age skin loses some of its characteristics, changing the proportion between elastic and collagen fibres that provide firmness and elasticity, and decreasing percentage of water causing the skin to lose freshness and become drier, thus resulting in small, not too deep, wrinkles, which are most prominent in the lower eyelid area, which can be found on the entire face as a person ages.
Second reason is wrinkles that appear because of everyday expressive mimic musculature and these are horizontal forehead wrinkles, vertical glabelar wrinkles between eyebrows, horizontal wrinkles on the base of the nose, radial wrinkles in outer corners of the eyes. The third type of wrinkles appears due to gravity which causes a fine oval shape of the face to fade, deepens nasiolabial wrinkles stretching from the nose to outer lip corners, and puppet wrinkles that go from outer lip corners downwards towards the chin, and horizontal neck wrinkles. Each of these types requires a different treatment.
There is wide range of methods in aesthetic surgery aimed at short-term or long-term elimination of some of these wrinkles, whereby interventions do not require any preoperative treatment or postoperative pause from performing everyday activities. Methods that we use in our hospital include: surface dermabrasion, chemical peels, botox injection, use of filler and mesotherapy.
Depending on the surface which is treated and the method operation, the postoperative recovery period may range from several days to two weeks. These interventions are performed in early spring, late fall, or during winter. Summer period is avoided due to strong influence of sun that could leave dark spots on the new and sensitive skin.
