Breast augmentation is one of the most common and most popular interventions in aesthetic surgery. In our hospital, it is a routine surgery which quickly provides expected results.
Patients mostly opt for this surgical intervention because they are not satisfied with the size, shape or position of their breasts. These interventions are often performed so as to resolve existing, aesthetically unacceptable breast asymmetry, due to the loss of volume after pregnancy and nursing or after rigorous diets when the quantity of breast fatty tissue decreases.
At the first examination your wishes and objectives will be listened to and noted down. Detailed examinations will then be performed and the plan of operation will be created that fully corresponds to your needs. During the examination the patient will be informed about possible risks and limitations. Our aim is to give all the information to patients so that they have a clear picture of what to expect from this procedure. Breast augmentation is performed with implants of latest generation, of different size and shape.
Breast surgery is carried out under general anaesthesia, and it requires detailed preoperative preparation and postoperative stay in our hospital in the duration of one day. Postoperative recovery differs from patient to patient, but most of them continue with some light activities seven days upon the operation. Intensive physical exercises should be avoided in the period of six weeks.
