- Breast asymmetry
All breasts are naturally asymmetrical, thus solving this problem represents the culmination of aesthetic breast surgery.
Various factors lead to non-development or underdevelopment of one breast, excessive development of the other one, but other factors such as thoracic deformities may also result in breast asymmetry. With combination of techniques for surgical augmentation and breast reduction, the solution to this problem becomes a reality.
The patient is informed about possible risks and limitations during the examination. Our aim is to give all the information to patients so that they have a clear picture of what to expect from this procedure. The scope and complexity of this procedure depend on individual factors such as age, size and volume of breasts, as well as potential need for implants.
These interventions are carried out under general anaesthesia, they require detailed preoperative preparation and postoperative recovery period in our hospital in the duration of one or two days. Depending on the operation procedure, patients usually continue with some light everyday activities seven days upon surgery.
